Progress

This segment is for the client who is ready for next steps. This often applies to students in college or university, or those clients entering the work force or advancing in their careers. This individualized coaching is done via videoconferencing, focusing on these goals.

The videoconference method was intentionally chosen. We have been using this as the primary coaching method for over three years. The benefit for young adults has been seen repeatedly: being in your own setting significantly reduces anxiety, not having to get to another location saves energy that can be actively used in the coaching session, and controlling your own environment allows for improved focus. And now, in the COVID-19 world and beyond, videoconferencing has become a common, necessary skill - and one which becomes perfected during our sessions.

In these coaching sessions, we lead a client-centered deep dive into executive functioning practices, allowing further exploration into a strength-based approach to learning. At this level, we often take an even closer look at determining optimal accommodations in either the school or workplace settings, as well as how to take control of your social experiences and independent / inter-dependent living. And of course, depending on your goals, we can also work on awareness of the impact of environment / sensory, advanced problem solving techniques specific to your situation, and other pieces of the adulting world you are looking for.
